Mary was born in 1688 in Of Tuckahoe Cree, Henrico, Va. Mary's father was William GILES and her mother was Bethania KNOWLES. Her paternal grandparents are John GILES and Philaritie WOODWARD; her maternal grandparents were John KNOWLES and Mary BROADNAX. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, John, Nicholas, William, John, Nicholas and Mary. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 43 in 1731 in Henrico County, Virginia.General Notes
