Martha Jane Howard was born on January 3rd, 1855. Martha Jane Howard's father was John PHILLIPS and her mother was Rebecca Jane WILLIAMS. Her paternal grandparents were David PHILLIPS and Mary (Polly) WATERS. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Anderson, Julius, John Huston, J. R. Graves, Mary Ann Frances, Margaret America and Sarah Rosetta. She is the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
