Joseph PHILIPS 
Joseph was born on January 15th, 1813 in Upper St. Clair, Allegheny, Pa. Joseph's father was David PHILIPS and his mother is Psyche HULTZ. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Jr. PHILLIPS and Mary Hall LAUGHTON. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jesse, Henry, David E., Isaac, John F., Josiah W., James T., Mary, Matilda, Lucinda, Sarah Jane and Anna J.. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 40 on September 13th, 1853.General Notes
