Rebecca Barthina Jones

Rebecca Barthina was born on March 1st, 1854 in Cannon County,Tennessee.¹ Rebecca Barthina's father was Aaron Ford Jones and her mother was Mahola Ann Helen Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Erasmus Jones and Amiah Unknown; her maternal grandparents are Winslow , Jr. Carter and Elizabeth Unknown. She had four brothers and a sister, named Artasursas Alexander B., Thomas Moore, John M. Forest, Barkley and Elizabeth. She had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph W., James S., David Washington, Samuel Thompson, Aaron Fuqua, Henry Calvin, James Augustus, Martha Elizabeth, Mary Isabelle, Nancy Cari and America Ann "Annie" Barthina. She died at the age of 64 on June 25th, 1918 in Cannon County,Tennessee.¹

‌Rebecca Barthina and Alexander Campbell were married in a religious ceremony on September 7th, 1879.² They had five sons and three daughters, named Bedford Forest, Glover Cleveland, Genoia, Lester, Addie Mahola, Daisy, Arizona Mai and Philina.
