James Augustus Jones 
James Augustus was born on November 30th, 1851.1 James Augustus' father was Aaron Ford Jones and his mother was Nancy T. Buckley. His paternal grandparents were Erasmus Jones and Amiah Unknown. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph W., James S., David Washington, Samuel Thompson, Aaron Fuqua, Henry Calvin, Martha Elizabeth, Mary Isabelle, Nancy Cari and America Ann "Annie" Barthina.
