John M. Forest Jones

John M. Forest was born on February 11th, 1863.¹ John M. Forest's father was Aaron Ford Jones and his mother was Mahola Ann Helen Carter. His paternal grandparents were Erasmus Jones and Amiah Unknown; his maternal grandparents are Winslow , Jr. Carter and Elizabeth Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Artasursas Alexander B., Thomas Moore, Barkley, Elizabeth and Rebecca Barthina. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph W., James S., David Washington, Samuel Thompson, Aaron Fuqua, Henry Calvin, James Augustus, Martha Elizabeth, Mary Isabelle, Nancy Cari and America Ann "Annie" Barthina. He died at the age of 73 on February 6th, 1937.¹
