America Ann "Annie" Barthina was born on September 6th, 1849 in Watertown,Tennessee.1 America Ann "Annie" Barthina's father was Aaron Ford Jones and her mother was Nancy T. Buckley. Her paternal grandparents were Erasmus Jones and Amiah Unknown. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Joseph W., James S., David Washington, Samuel Thompson, Aaron Fuqua, Henry Calvin, James Augustus, Martha Elizabeth, Mary Isabelle and Nancy Cari. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Artasursas Alexander B., Thomas Moore, John M. Forest, Barkley, Elizabeth and Rebecca Barthina. She died at the age of 76 on August 13th, 1926 in Tulsa,Shamrock County,Oklahoma.1 General Notes
