Catherine was born on July 9th, 1803 in Blair Co., PA.1 Catherine's father was John Hoover and her mother was Elizabeth Brumbaugh. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Adam HUBER and Catherine Kramer. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named George Brumbaugh, John B., Isaac B., Susannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Barbara B., Christina Brumbaugh, Annie and Esther. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died in Lantzville, IN.1 -
