James CAMPBELL 
James was born about 1630 in Knockamilie, Of Knockamilie, Scotland. James' father was Duncan CAMPBELL and his mother was Jean COLQUHOUN. His paternal grandparents were Dugald CAMPBELL and Mary ERSKINE; his maternal grandparents were Alexander (Alasdair) COLQUHOUN [LORD] and Margaret Helen BUCHANAN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Archibald, William, Alexander, Donald, Duncan, Ann, Jean and Marian "Mary". He is the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes
