Alexander CAMPBELL 
Alexander was born in 1635 in Stondour, Of Strondour, Scotland. Alexander's father was Duncan CAMPBELL and his mother was Jean COLQUHOUN. His paternal grandparents were Dugald CAMPBELL and Mary ERSKINE; his maternal grandparents were Alexander (Alasdair) COLQUHOUN [LORD] and Margaret Helen BUCHANAN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Archibald, James, William, Donald, Duncan, Ann, Jean and Marian "Mary". He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 50 in June 1685 in Murdered, In Jacobite Raid, Carnasarie Castl, Scotland.General Notes
