Archibald CAMPBELL 
Archibald was born about 1629 in Knockamilie, Of Knockamilie, Scotland. Archibald's father was Duncan CAMPBELL and his mother was Jean COLQUHOUN. His paternal grandparents were Dugald CAMPBELL and Mary ERSKINE; his maternal grandparents were Alexander (Alasdair) COLQUHOUN [LORD] and Margaret Helen BUCHANAN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Alexander, Donald, Duncan, Ann, Jean and Marian "Mary". He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in 1664.General Notes
