Ellis M. was born on March 8th, 1828 in <, , Texas>. Ellis M.'s father was Peter Ellis BEAN and his mother was Candace Midkiff. His paternal grandfather was William II BEAN and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Shaw BLAIR; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Preston Midkiff and Susannah HOWELL. He had a brother and a sister, named Issac Thomas and Louisa Jane. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 23 on April 15th, 1851.General Notes
