Catherine was born in 1309 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.1   Catherine's father was Roger De Mortimer and her mother was Joan De Geneville.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund De Mortimer and Margaret De Fiennes; her maternal grandparents were Piers De Geneville and Jeanne (Joan) De Lusignan. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Edmund, Roger, Geoffrey, John, Maud, Margaret, Agnes, Joan, Blanche and Beatrice.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 60 in August 1369.  She was buried in St. Mary's, Warwick.1 1 


Catherine's family with Thomas De Beauchamp

‌Catherine and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on February 22nd, 1334 in Warwickshire, England.1   They had two sons and four daughters, named Thomas Of Warwick K.G., William, Philippe, Phillippa, Maud and Isabel.
