Gilbert De Lacy 
Gilbert was born in 1202 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland.1 Gilbert's father was Walter De Lacy and his mother was Margaret De Braose. His paternal grandparents were Hugh De Lacy and Rohese De Monmouth; his maternal grandparents were William De Braose and Maud - Matilda De Haia De St. Valerie. He had three sisters named Egida, Petronilla and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 32 in 1234.1 General Notes
