Thomas of Gloucester was born on September 22nd, 1373.1 Thomas of Gloucester's father was Edward Despencer and his mother was Elizabeth De Burghersh. His paternal grandparents were Edward Despencer and Anne De Ferrers; his maternal grandparents were Bartholomew Burghersh and Cicely De Weyland. He had two sisters named Margaret and Elizabeth.
