Elizabeth Despencer 
Elizabeth was born about 1367 in Essendine, Rutland, England.1 Elizabeth's father was Edward Despencer and her mother was Elizabeth De Burghersh. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Despencer and Anne De Ferrers; her maternal grandparents were Bartholomew Burghersh and Cicely De Weyland. She had a brother and a sister, named Thomas of Gloucester and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on April 10th, 1408. She was buried in Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucestershire, England.1 1 General Notes
