Lucas was born about 1180 in of Heleigh Castle, Audley, Staffordshire, England.1 Lucas' father was Adam De Alditheley and his mother was Emma Fitzorm. His paternal grandfather was Sheriff Of Cheshire De Alditheley Liulf; his maternal grandparents were Ralph FitzOrm and Lettice de Montgomery. He had four brothers and a sister, named Adam, Henry, William, James and Isabella. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died after 1210.1 General Notes
