Elizabeth was born on September 16th, 1415 in Hanley Castle, co. Worcestershire, England.1 Elizabeth's father was Richard Beauchamp and her mother was Isabel Despencer. Her paternal grandparents were William Beauchamp and Joan Fitzalan; her maternal grandparents were Thomas of Gloucester Despencer and Constance of York. She was an only child.
