Phoebe Carpenter 
Phoebe was born on April 12th, 1785 in Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont. Phoebe's father was Rufus Carpenter and her mother was Olive Whitcomb. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Coles Carpenter and Elizabeth Carpenter; her maternal grandparents were Robert Whitcomb and Joanna Lawrence. She was an only child. She died at the age of 81 on May 7th, 1866 in Indiana.-
