Ezra Perry 
Ezra was born in 1625 in Sandwich, Barnstable co., MA.1 Ezra's father was Edmund Perry and his mother was UNKNOWN Sarah. His paternal grandparents were John Perry and UNKNOWN Perry. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Anthony, Edward, Arthur, Hannah, Elizabeth, Margaret and Deborah. He died at the age of 64 on October 16th, 1689 in Sandwich, Barnstable co., MA.2 General Notes

EZRA PERRY: Circumstantial evidence suggests that this Ezra Perry wasclosely related to others of thename in Sandwich and probabley also inScituate, Mass. Conclusive evidence regarding the precise nature ofthese relationships is still to be found, as will appear. The firstrecorded notice of Ezra Perry in America is found in the Sandwich townrecords, where at a Metting 6 mo. 7, 1644 we learn that "divers personsengaged freely topay in goods and merchantable corn" toward the repair oftheir Meeting House. Ezra Perry pledged an amount of nine shillingstoward this project. (Sandwich town records; Frederick Freeman, "Annalsof Sandwich" in The History of Cape Cod, vol. II, p. 45).
