Charles French 
Charles was born on February 10th, 1805 in Woodstock, Vt.. Charles' father was Gideon French and his mother was Phoebe Carpenter. His paternal grandparents were Gideon French and Judith Evans; his maternal grandparents were Rufus Carpenter and Olive Whitcomb. He had a brother and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Rodney Lorenzo, Louisa Phylena, Rowena Lorona, Verona Fanstina, Martha Ann and Olive Whitcomb. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 on January 14th, 1877 in Woodstock, Vt..-
