Reubin Staton Manning 
Reubin Staton was born on October 17th, 1808 in Martin Co., North Carolina. Reubin Staton's father was Reubin Manning and his mother was Sarah (Sallie) Staton. His paternal grandparents were Marcom Manning and Keziah Ballentine; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Staton and Rebecca Everett. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Ethalinda, Sarah, Elizabeth and Kezia. He died at the age of 50 on February 24th, 1859 in DeSoto Co., Mississippi.General Notes
