John Manning 
John was born in 1707 in Norfolk Co., Virginia. John's father was John Manning and his mother was Margaret Markham. His paternal grandparents were John Manning and Sarah Wafford. He had a brother and five sisters, named Matthew, Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth, Margaret and Lette. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 51 in 1758.-

John and Ann were married in a religious ceremony about 1727. They had three sons and three daughters, named Marcom, John, Reubin, Mary Harper, Elizabeth and Margaret.
