John was born in Norfolk Co, Virginia. John's father was John Manning and his mother was Lydia Richardson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Manning and Susanna Taylor. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Mary and Margaret. He died in 1716.General Notes
