Mary was born on January 20th, 1840 in Snow Camp Orange county N.C.. Mary's father was Simeon Allen and her mother was Hannah Woody. Her paternal grandparents were John Allen and Dinah Stuart. She was an only child. She died at the age of 43 on April 16th, 1883 in Chatham County N.C. Pittsboro.-
