George Avery Payne 
George Avery was born on May 10th, 1927 in Alamosa,Colorado. George Avery's father was Millard PAYNE and his mother was Lula Inez Cooley. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Payne and Cynthia Elizabeth Gee. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Willard Franklin, Millard Leroy, Walter, Cecil Edward, Luther Earl, Lillie May, Lula Florence, Sarah Elizabeth, Francis Clarabelle, Mildred Charlotte and Willlie Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the twelve children.-
