Roger "The Good" was born about 1116 in Tunbridge Castle,Kent,England.1   Roger "The Good"'s father was Richard FitzGilbert De Clare and his mother was Adeliz de Keveliock.  His paternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzRichard , 2nd Earl de Clare and Adeliza De Clermont; his maternal grandparents were Hugh de Keveliock 3rd Earl of Chester and Bertrade (Beatrix) Evreux de Montfort. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Gilbert, Richard Strongbow Fitzgilbert, Alice (Adeliza) de (Clare) and Rohese. He had a half-sister named Alice.  He died in 1173 in Oxon,Oxfordshire,England.  He was buried in Eynsham Priory,Oxfordshire,England.1 1 


Roger "The Good"'s family with Maud (Matilda) De Saint Hillary

‌Roger "The Good" and Maud (Matilda) De were married in a religious ceremony about 1153 in Dalling,Norfolk,England.  They had five sons and three daughters, named Richard, Roger, James, John, Henry, Elena, Mabel FitzPatrick and Eveline (Aveline).
