Lucy , Countess of Chester was born about 1070 in Spalding,Lincolnshire,England.1   Lucy , Countess of Chester's father was Ivo De Roumare De Taillebois Comte D'Anjou and her mother was Lucy of Mercia.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffroy II Ferreol Gastinois and Ermengarde D' Anjou; her maternal grandparents were Alfgar III Earl of Mercia and AElfgifu (Elgiva) of England. She had a brother and a sister, named Eldred De Taillebois 2nd Baron Of and Adeliza. She had a half-brother named William.  She died about 1136.1
