Edmund "of Langley" was born on June 5th, 1341 in Kings Langley,Herts.,England.  Edmund "of Langley"'s father was Edward III, King England and his mother was Countess, Queen of England Philippa Hainault.  His paternal grandparents were Edward II, King England and Isabelle, Princess Of France; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume III de Avesnes and Jeanne de Valois. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Edward , the Black Prince, Edward "The Black", Lionel, John "Of Gaunt" of, Thomas , 1st Duke of Gloucester, William of Windsor, William of Hatfield, JOHN of , 1st Duke of Lancaster, Isabella, Mary, Margaret, Joanna of Woodstock and Blanche.  He died in Kings Langley,Herts.,England.
