Ida de was born about 1065.  Ida de's father was Henri II, Comte de Louvain and her mother was Adelheid von Weimar-Orlamünda.  Her paternal grandparents were Lambert II "Baudry" Louvain Count of and Oda Of Lorraine [Princess]; her maternal grandparents were Otto II Weimar-Orlamunda and Adèle de Louvain. She had two brothers named Henri III, Comte de and Godefroi I, Duc de.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Godfrey "A La Barbe", Otto "The Rich" Count Of, Siegfried I Von, Alix de and Ida De.


Ida de's family with Baudouin II Count of Hainault

‌Ida de and Baudouin II Count of were married in a religious ceremony in 1084.  They had four daughters named Ida de, Yolande de, Adelaide and Aleidis Cts de.
