Ida De was born in 1063 in Louvain,Brabant,France.  Ida De's father was Henri II, Comte de Louvain and her mother was Adele (Alix) of Thuringia Countess Beteau.  Her paternal grandparents were Lambert II "Baudry" Louvain Count of and Oda Of Lorraine [Princess]; her maternal grandparents were Otto of Orlamunde and Adelaide Von Der Betuwe. She had a brother and a sister, named Godfrey "A La Barbe" and Alix de.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henri III, Comte de, Godefroi I, Duc de and Ida de.  She died at the age of 76 in April 1139 in (Unknown).1
