Sophia zu was born in 1091 in <Hohenstaufen,Baden-Württemberg,Schwaben,Germany>.1   Sophia zu's father was Frederick I Hohenstauffen Swabia Duke of Suabia and her mother was Agnes Salian Princess of the Holy Roman Empire.  Her paternal grandparents were Frederick I Hohenstauffen [Duke Swabia] and Hildegarde von Bar-Mousson; her maternal grandparents were Heinrich IV Emperor of The Holy Roman Empire and Bertha Countess Of Maurienne. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederick II the One-Eyed von, Konrad III King of, Richilde of, Gertrud Princess of and Luitgard of. She had seven half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Adalbert, Prince of, Leopold IV Markgraf of, Otto, Prince Of, Otto Abbaye of Mormond the Historian, Bishop of, Heinrich II, Duke of, Ernst, Prince Of, Konrad, Prince of, Agnes de Babenberg von, Agnes (Sophia), Jutta von, Jhutte Of, Elisabeth, Princess Of, Brechta von, Berthe and Gertrude of.  She died at the age of 24 in 1115.1

‌Sophia zu and Konrad II von were married in a religious ceremony about 1108 in <Weikersheim,Jagstkreis,Baden-Württemberg,Schwaben, Germany>.1   They had two sons named Konrad von and Heinrich von.
