Frederick I Hohenstauffen was born about 1050 in Of Hohenstaufen,Swaben,Bavaria.1   Frederick I Hohenstauffen's father was Frederick I Hohenstauffen [Duke Swabia] and his mother was Hildegarde von Bar-Mousson.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick Von BUREN and Adelaide Von FILSGAU; his maternal grandparents were Otto III Schweinfurt Duke of Swabia and Gepa , Countess In Nordgau Von Egisheim.  He was an only child.  He died on January 20th, 1105.1 


Frederick I Hohenstauffen's family with Agnes Salian Princess of the Holy Roman Empire

‌Frederick I Hohenstauffen and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony in 1080.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Frederick II the One-Eyed von, Konrad III King of, Richilde of, Gertrud Princess of, Sophia zu and Luitgard of.
