Robert Count of was born about 1123 in ,Reims,,France.  Robert Count of's father was Louis VI "El Gordo" France and his mother was Princess Adelheid of Savoy.  His paternal grandparents were Philippe I of France and Bertha of Westfriesland; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II De Maurienne Comte De Savoy and Giselle Countess of Burgundy. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Philip Prince of, Louis VII "The Younger" King of, Henry Archbishop of, Philip Arch-Dean of, Constance Princess of and Alix De. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Pierre I Capet de and Isabelle de.  He died in Braine.  He was buried in Braine.
