Pierre I Capet de was born in ,Reims,,France.  Pierre I Capet de's father was Louis VI "El Gordo" France and his mother was Elizabeth De Courtenay.  His paternal grandparents were Philippe I of France and Bertha of Westfriesland; his maternal grandparents were Renaud De Courtenay and Hawise De Donjon. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Philip Prince of, Louis VII "The Younger" King of, Henry Archbishop of, Robert Count of, Philip Arch-Dean of, Pierre II De, Robert I De Champignelles de, Isabelle de, Constance Princess of, Alix De and Alix De.  He died in 1183 in ,Palastina.  He was buried on April 10th, 1183.

‌Pierre I Capet de and Elizabeth De were married in a religious ceremony in 1168 in France.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Pierre II De, Robert I De Champignelles de and Alix De.
