Renaud II of was born in 1047 in of Nevers,Nievre,France.1 Renaud II of's father was Guillaume I de Nevers and his mother was Ermengarde de Tonnerre. His paternal grandparents were Renaud I Count de Nevers and Princess Adele Or Adelaide Hawise De France; his maternal grandparents were Renaud de Tonnerre Count de Tonnerre and Helvise de Noyon. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Count William Of, Guillaume II de, Aldesinde Lucia de, Helvise de and Sibylle Yolande de.1 General Notes
