Fernando, known as Principe de Castilla, was born in Sevilla,Sevilla,Spain.  Principe de Castilla's father was Alfonso X "El Sabio" Rey de Castilla and his mother was Violante (Yolande) of Aragon.  His paternal grandparents were Fernando Alfonsez III King of Castilla y León and Beatrice von (Elizabeth) Hohenstaufen; his maternal grandparents were Jaime I "El Conquistador" Rey de (El Conquistador) Aragon and Jolan Princess Of Hungary. He had three brothers and a sister, named Sancho IV Alfonsez "El Bravo" de, Juan Infante De, Fernando de and Beatriz ,Alfonsa Princesa de. He had a half-sister named Beatriz Afonso De.  He died on July 25th, 1275 in Allariz,Orense,Spain.

‌Principe de Castilla and Blanche de were married in a religious ceremony in 1269.  They had two sons named Rey Titular de Castilla Y Aragón and Fernando II.
