Almeda K. was born on February 4th, 1857 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Almeda K.'s father was Carney C. Thomas and her mother was Elizabeth F. Ammons. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Thomas and Jane (?). She had two brothers and three sisters, named Curtis W., Lewis H., Olivia H., Lovda L. and Terzie. She died at the age of 82 on July 1st, 1939 in Coosa Co., AL. She was buried in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL..1 1 General Notes

"Mrs. Miller, age 82, died at her home in Rockford, Rt. 1 at ten o'clock
Saturday evening after a brief illness. She is survived by one son, Dr.
J. K. Miller, of Texas. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery Tuesday,
