Her paternal grandparents were James, Jr. Spradley and Jane (?). She had six brothers and three sisters, named William James, John Dillard, Hamilton Boykin, George David, Henry F., Thomas Albert, Malissa Lillie, Martha Elizabeth and Emma Henrietta. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 on August 8th, 1921 in SC.1 General Notes
