Emma Henrietta Spradley 
Emma Henrietta was born on November 10th, 1854 in Kershaw Co., SC.1 Emma Henrietta's father was John Bryant Spradley and her mother was Martha Jane M. Smith. Her paternal grandparents were James, Jr. Spradley and Jane (?). She had six brothers and three sisters, named William James, John Dillard, Hamilton Boykin, George David, Henry F., Thomas Albert, Malissa Lillie, Rebecca and Martha Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 90 on November 28th, 1944 in SC. She was buried in Sumter Cemetery, Sumter Co., SC.1 1 General Notes

SUMTER WOMAN WHO DIED SATURDAY AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER MRS. W.M.
MORRIS. THE SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AT SHELLEY-BRUNSON FUNERAL HOME AT 3
O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON BY THE REV. E.W. REYNOLDS, ASSISTED BY THE REV.
J.H. SIMPSON. INTERMENT WAS IN THE SUMTER CEMETERY. MRS. NUNNERY IS
SURVIVED BY THREE DAUGHTERS, MRS. MORRIS, MRS. H.F. CAPELL AND MRS. R.F.
GURLEY, ALL OF SUMTER COUNTY; 16 GRANDCHILDREN AND 22 GREAT-GRAND CHILDREN
GRAVE IS NOT MARKED. IT IN LOT 405 OF THE SUMTER CEMETERY. THERE IS A
GRAVE MARKED FOR W. MORRIS AND BELLE N. MORRIS ON THE SAME LOT AS WELL AS
A MARKER FOR HEYWARD WELLS.
