Thella Odell was born on August 24th, 1887 in AL.1 Thella Odell's father was Marion Alonzo Russell and her mother was Mary Frances Mothershed. Her paternal grandparents were John M. Russell and Caroline Amelia Spradley. She had two brothers named Bodie and Zollie. She died at the age of 52 on August 8th, 1940 in Luverne, Crenshaw Co., AL. John Frances Ellis and they lived with or near Alonzo and Mary Frances in
Sardis at least until WW I was over. John was a soldier in WW I.
