Clara Beatrice was born on October 14th, 1899 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Clara Beatrice's father was Joseph Alexander Murphy and her mother was Margaret P. (?). Her paternal grandparents were Mark Emanuel Murphy and Martha Ann Logan. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas Leroy, Mary D. and Arsula. She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel Green, John Alexander, Martha Ann and Tullelah Belle. She died at the age of 87 on October 5th, 1987 in Elmore Co., AL.1 General Notes

Clarla Beatrice Logan, 87,a resident of Wetumpka, died Monday, October 5,
1987 in a Tallassee Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
Oct. 7, 1987 at 2 p.m. from Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. John Giddens
and Rev. Bob Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Church
Cemetery with Gassett-Hudman directing. Survivors include one son,
Rudoulph Logan,Wetumpka, five daughters, Aldean Venable, Wetumpka, Lanell
Logan, Sylacauga, Joan Trammell, Chattanooga, Tenn., Dot Moore, Eclectic,
AL, and Janice Flourney, Eclectic. 20 grandchildren, 30 great
grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
