Thomas Nelson Moody 
Thomas Nelson was born on February 2nd, 1868 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Thomas Nelson's father was Theophilus Moody and his mother was Mary Jane Rushing. His maternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William McDonald, Charles Wesley, John Theophilus, James Roger, Mary Emma and Lucinda Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 72 in 1940 in Fort Worth, TX.1 General Notes

In 1901 Tom and Lula moved their family to Watt where he operated a
general mercantile store'. In 1905 they moved to Pr Hill where Tom
operated a mercantile store until late 1919 they moved to Mart. They
continued in the mercantile business. In 1926 the Moodys moved to Fort
Worth where Tom die in 1940 and Lu1a in 1960.
