Lucinda Elizabeth was born on March 2nd, 1866 in Pike Co., AL.1 Lucinda Elizabeth's father was Theophilus Moody and her mother was Mary Jane Rushing. Her maternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. She had five brothers and a sister, named William McDonald, Thomas Nelson, Charles Wesley, John Theophilus, James Roger and Mary Emma. She was the third oldest of the seven children.General Notes

She was a member of Beulah Primitive Baptist Church in Pike County, Troy,
Alabama. When she was a member, the church was located on South Three
Notch Street. It was organized May 15, 1831 and is Troy's oldest
church.(1)
