Benjamin Franklin Miller 
Benjamin Franklin was born on October 5th, 1883 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was John Thomas Miller and his mother was Mary Virginia Smith. His paternal grandparents were James Miller and Mary Gibson; his maternal grandparents were John Alexander, Sr. Smith and Nancy Logan. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Henry Archer, James Emanuelbert, Thomas Fisk Colonel, Vesta, Amanda Alice, Rosa Bell, Mary Atlantic and Ollie Pearl. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 88 in June 1972 in AL.1 General Notes

As a youth, wanted to become a preacher. The Black man who lived with
the boys in "The bull pen", advised him to become a Methodist preacher.
His reasoning was that the Methodist would not move him around and would
take better care of him than the Baptist.
