Nancy Caroline was born on May 27th, 1846 in GA.1 Nancy Caroline's father was Alexander D. McEwen and her mother was Rhoda Payne. Her paternal grandparents were James Hill McEwen and Martha Ann Snead. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Thomas, Alexander Hamilton Stevens, William Franklin and Mary Melvina. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Pollard, Louisa Antoinette, Martha Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. She died at the age of 79 on April 26th, 1926 in Campbell Co., GA. She was buried in Old Salt Springs Cemetery, Lithia Springs, Campbell Co., GA.1 1 -
