Mary Melvina McEwen 
Mary Melvina was born on February 18th, 1844 in GA.1 Mary Melvina's father was Alexander D. McEwen and her mother was Rhoda Payne. Her paternal grandparents were James Hill McEwen and Martha Ann Snead. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Thomas, Alexander Hamilton Stevens, William Franklin and Nancy Caroline. She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Pollard, Louisa Antoinette, Martha Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. She died at the age of 28 on October 15th, 1872 in GA. She was buried in Old Salt Springs Cemetery, Lithia Springs, Campbell Co., GA.1 1 -
