Alexander Hamilton Stevens McEwen

Alexander Hamilton Stevens was born on April 13th, 1849 in GA.¹ Alexander Hamilton Stevens' father was Alexander D. McEwen and his mother was Rhoda Payne. His paternal grandparents were James Hill McEwen and Martha Ann Snead. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, William Franklin, Mary Melvina and Nancy Caroline. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Pollard, Louisa Antoinette, Martha Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. He died at the age of 59 on April 16th, 1908 in GA.¹
