James Leonard McEwen 
James Leonard was born on May 22nd, 1891 in Coosa Co., AL.1 James Leonard's father was James Thomas McEwen and his mother was Margaret Emily Knox. His paternal grandparents were George Washington McEwen and Mary Catherine Sears. He had two brothers and a sister, named T. Knox, Joseph Aden and Sally Emily. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named George Hannon, John Alton, Sr., Lenora and Alice Eulala. He died at the age of 65 on January 3rd, 1957 in AL. He was buried in Weogufka Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL. Located about 2 miles due south of Weogufka..1 1 General Notes
