Rayborn Hood was born on September 11th, 1901 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Rayborn Hood's father was Francis Marion Logan and his mother was Olivia H. Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Bloomfield Logan and Milley Hutto; his maternal grandparents were Carney C. Thomas and Elizabeth F. Ammons. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Luke A., Murl T., Gracie Y., Ressie Flora and Eunice L.. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died in AL.1 General Notes

"Hood Logan and another boy was out riding Monday and turned over an
automobile and got under it and crawled out and was bruised up
considerably, but they will be all right in a few days."(1)
"Hood Logan and mother spent the week end with thier sister and daughter,
Mrs. C. H. Dansby, at Verbena." (2)
